First Day

As required by the tradition, my first day of school picture is posted above.
Yesterday, I was asked to print the rosters and schedules. Inferred in that statement was DO the schedules. Since my junior year in high school I wanted to be the one to create the high school schedule. It was a disaster that year because a rookie created the schedule.
This time I’m the rookie well aware that scheduling a building is, like the US healthcare problem, not easy. While in media res is a great writing strategy it’s the pits for a large spreadsheet. And the names were placed in one cell–no alphabetical order for you. Argh!
There were a few glitches followed by an a needed move of an entire class and teacher changes.
In less than a day there were rosters and schedules. Tomorrow is another day.
Today I’m a rock star.
